Nursary Section
Our Nursery School offers high-quality education and care in a happy, interactive environment that helps our learners develop holistically. Early learning in our Early Years Programme (EYP) is a holistic learning experience that integrates socio-emotional, physical and cognitive development. In our EYP classrooms, learning takes place in dynamic environments that promote play, discovery and exploration.
The EYP in Nursery School nurtures and develops young learners as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning. The EYP offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding.
The EYP curriculum focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, encouraging learners to take responsibility and ownership of their learning, both in school and in the world beyond. The EYP offers a transformative experience for learners, learners and whole school communities and delivers excellent outcomes by providing an education that is engaging, relevant, challenging and significant.
Bilingual French/English Program (50/50 Program)
From the 1st Kindergarten to the Primary Three
At Peha International School, we value language learning and our goal is to train students who are not only bilingual, but also multilingual. The bilingual 50/50 French/English section is available in Kindergarten, Primary School.
Kindergarten 50/50
1st, 2nd, 3rd Kindergarten
Early bilingualism is the key to true multilingualism, so our bilingual program starts in the first year of kindergarten. In the 50/50 bilingual section, students take half of the courses in French and the other half in English. They become sufficiently fluent in both languages to be able to follow a balanced immersion program.
Learning reading, writing, mathematics is taught in French, psychomotor activities are taught in English. This system provides a solid foundation for better understanding the learning of both languages in primary school.
